August 29, 2025 Friday 

Day 3

I stayed at a rest area not far from Dominic’s house as it was too late to get to his place. 

I was greeted this morning by this cute little Deer. He was just grazing not too far from where I had parked last night. He was very small and looked like a baby. I didn’t see your mother anywhere, but I’m sure she was watching him.

A little while later, I had a knock at the door and it was a Nice maintenance guy letting me know that he could smell propane coming from my unit. I went out and checked with him and as long as it was turned off, there was no smell or Propane leak. So I just left it shut off. Got my coffee and headed towards Dominic’s. I stopped at the flying day there just to pick up some coffee and something to eat and who should I run into Dominic picking up Cinnabon for the kids for breakfast. So after I got my stuff, I went ahead and headed to his house to drop off the boat motor and stay for a couple of days. 

Once I got there explained what was going on Dominic plugged me into the shop so I would have electricity at least checked the boat motor off and we got my scooter out from inside sunflower and put it on the back onto the basket. I made a few calls and didn’t hear back from anybody so I’m kind of stuck here for a while.

Dominic is always so good. He doesn’t care how long I stay what a wonderful son.

August 30, 2025 Saturday 

Day 4

Got up this morning got my coffee the little straightening up since the day outside on my chair making some list of things I needed to do. I drove down to Walmart in Roseburg to pick up a few items went over to planet fitness did a little walking on the treadmill and took my shower.

When I returned back to Dom‘s, I finished plugging in again and just kind of relaxed the afternoon and watched my iPad and movies

August 31, 2025 Sunday 

Day 5

I spent the morning Cleaning Sunflower & wiping down things. Just mainly trying to get it organized so I can find things easier.

I’m still at Dom‘s house that goodness for the electricity without it I don’t know what I would be doing.

I called three places to see if I could get sunflower in and I get her fixed but it’s a holiday weekend, so I didn’t expect much but at least they have my information and I’m hoping they’ll call me back Tuesday morning, if not I’m definitely calling them. .

September 01,2025 Monday 

Day 6

Today is a holiday so I don’t expect much but I did make my call again to see if I could get it in at least Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Hopefully we’ll see what happens. Just kind of spent the day outside and watching movies and visiting with the kids that really much going on. 

When I got lit, I went inside and headed to bed

September 02, 2025 Tuesday 

Day 7

This morning I got up about 7 o’clock. Got my coffee and did my stuff and got ready to head out to Sutherland and Roseburg to see if I could at least get somebody to look at this propane tank.

I took it to three different shops and nobody was interested in looking at it. I believe that the basket on the back intimidated them because of propane tank is located there. Well at least I’m OK and I’m safe.

September 03, 2025 Wednesday

Day 8

Just a lazy day spent my time trying to clean up things around the motorhome. I got to sitting in my chair with my feet up relaxing. I enjoy a bit of a cinbon I got from Flying J. I could only eat half of it. Made myself a sandwich for dinner and watched a little bit of videos on the iPad. Like I said it was a really lazy day. I’m still at my adopted Son’s house. 

I did, however, make an appointment for Dan my RV Man to see sunflower when I got back to my homebase in October . 

As far as I’m concerned, my mission was accomplished.
